Swainswick Parish Council is comprised of six Councillors, and a clerk.

The Parish Council holds full Council Meetings every two months, in Swainswick Primary School. The Annual Parish Council Meeting is held in June, prior to a full Council meeting, and is the meeting at which the Chairman and Vice Chairman are elected for the coming year.

Draft minutes are posted as soon as possible after each meeting but are only formally approved at the next council meeting.
