Swainswick Parish Council is comprised of six Councillors, and a clerk.
The Parish Council holds full Council Meetings every two months, in Swainswick Primary School. The Annual Parish Council Meeting is held in June, prior to a full Council meeting, and is the meeting at which the Chairman and Vice Chairman are elected for the coming year.
Further details of the procedures for Parish Council Meetings and the Annual Parish Meeting can be viewed in the Standing Orders of the Parish Council.
The proceedings of Parish Council Meetings can be viewed in the Minutes.
Representations from the Parish Council to higher authority, for example on B&NES Planning or Highways matters, which are referred to in the Minutes, can be viewed in Representations.
Draft minutes are posted as soon as possible after each meeting but are only formally approved at the next council meeting.
